CERTIFICATION OF TOURISM BUSINESS ACTORS AND TOURISM PERSONNEL IN BANDUNG REGENCY

Abstract

The focus of this article is to map the distribution of tourism business actors and tourism personnel in Bandung Regency and provide information on how many tourism business actors have registered with the Ministry of Tourism on the basis of implementation tourism business certification and how many tourism workers in Bandung Regency have been certified professionally competent in accordance with the classification of the tourism sector in accordance with Government Regulation Number 52 of 2012. This research method uses a comparative study. This study uses primary data and secondary data. The results of the study show that the implementation of tourism business certification is still low. This is indicated by the fact that there are still many business actors/managers who do not yet have tourism business certification and there are still many tourism workers who do not have professional certification in the tourism sector and still consider that tourism business certification and competence of personnel work is not required. In addition, certification is carried out as a standard for improving the quality of the tourism industry
