ECONOMIC SUPPORT SECTOR IN BANDUNG REGENCY

Abstract

In a regional or regional economy there are sectors that support the economy. This can be seen from the proportion of sector value to the value of Gross Domestic Product and Gross Regional Domestic Product. The highest sector is the economic support sector in a region. The research method used in this study uses a Quantitative Method approach. The method used to calculate and analyze sector specialization in this study uses the Herfindahl-Hirschman Index (HHI) and the Krugman Divergence Index. Based on the research, information was obtained that Bandung Regency has three sectors that have high values, namely sector C (management industry) then Sector G (large and retail trade; repair of cars and motorcycles) and the last is sector A (agriculture, forestry, and fisheries)
