STRATEGIES TO INCREASE THE EFFECTIVENESS OFTHE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE BANDUNG REGENCYRESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT MASTER PLAN

Abstract

This study aims to see strategies that can assist in increasing the effectiveness of the implementation
of the Bandung Regency research and development master plan. With qualitative descriptive method,
the writer examines the direction of development policies, conditions, problems, potentials, and
challenges as well as strategies in implementing the Bandung Regency research and development
master plan. The secondary data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive analysis
complemented by in-depth interviews. From these results, various problems, opportunities,
challenges and strategies were found that are useful in increasing the effectiveness of the
implementation of the Bandung Regency R&D research and development master plan. One of them
is Regional Innovation Development. Bandung Regency has a lot of extraordinary potential, such as
the fisheries and tourism sectors which if developed can be an attraction for various parties to carry
out research and development activities in Bandung Regency. And then with cooperation and
coordination with all existing stakeholders, such as regional apparatus and with research institutions
outside the Bandung Regency Government, it will then make efficient and effective use of research
results by other regional apparatus.
