Abstract

This study was conducted to look at the problems and challenges faced by Micro Small and Medium
Enterprises (MSME) actors and find strategies and concepts for MSME development in Bandung
Regency. Theoretical studies are carried out on research that is relevant to the cases or problems
found. Source of data obtained through primary data, where primary data collection is done through
In-Depth Interview (IDI). The qualitative method was carried out by IDI in-depth interviews with
several key informants. From the research conducted, it is known that the problems and challenges
faced by MSMEs in Bandung Regency are problems in MSME information and data collection,
funding, legality and certification, human resources, and marketing problems. From the existing
problems and challenges, a strategy and concept of development and assistance is developed and
developed for MSMEs in Bandung Regency, with the aim of increasing the capacity and quality of
MSMEs in Bandung Regency. The programs carried out to increase the capacity and quality of
MSMEs in Bandung Regency include, Provision of integrated MSME information, Research and
Development, Increasing access to funding, Digitalizing MSMEs, Increasing HR capacity,
Increasing market access, and Innovation Nodes. And to achieve the set targets, it is hoped that there
will be great support from the Bandung Regency government to provide inter-sectoral facilities so
that they can collaborate in the development of Bandung Regency MSMEs and provide bureaucratic
facilities, especially during the program.
