Abstract

Raw water as one of the most basic needs for human life. Bandung Regency's efforts to take various
steps in the development of Raw Water through integrated and sustainable programs. This article is
an argument in the development of raw water which can be a guideline for the preparation of a
master plan and raw water master plan in Bandung Regency. Identifying problems of raw water
development and identifying raw water development needs. The growth rate of water demand from
year to year uses statistical equations. The method uses a descriptive quantitative approach to the
population growth rate method. This method is an estimate of the total population using the
population growth rate mathematically, or for its advanced level through a curve fitting that presents
a mathematical picture of changes in population, such as a logistical curve. The result is raw water
potential consisting of groundwater potential and surface water potential. The potential of raw water
is divided into two parts, namely: Shallow groundwater potential (depth 0-40 meters) and deep
groundwater potential (depth 40-140 meters). The need for raw water in Bandung Regency is
approximately 200 million m3 / year.
