Formation and Establishment of Higher Education in Bandung Regency

Abstract

The study of the formation and establishment of universities in the Bandung Regency area is an in-depth analysis that identifies the potential for the existence of universities as an effort to improve access to higher education and the quality of human resources in the area. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the independent learning program in Bandung Regency and build rational arguments for government support intervention in implementing the independent learning program in Bandung Regency. The study methods carried out in the formation and establishment of universities in the Bandung Regency area include various approaches and techniques, namely literature studies, interviews, field observations and data analysis. The results of the study show that there is good potential for establishing higher education in Bandung Regency. This is because the presence of a university in an area can attract people's interest to concentrate around the campus, so that it can meet the higher education needs of the local community. In addition, the establishment of universities in the area is considered important to improve access and quality of human resources. Furthermore, collaboration between the Bandung Regency regional government and universities, especially state universities, can be a driver of progress and welfare of the people in the region. This is in line with the positive development of Bandung Regency and the reputation of Bandung City as a student city in Indonesia.
