Abstract

Bandung Regency encourages the development of rural economy in Bandung Regency through the Sabilulungan 1000 Kampung Program. So it is necessary to develop thematic village development strategy based on the clustering of creative industries and tourism villages. Based on these conditions, efforts are needed to identify potentials and problems currently faced. Therefore, by using SWOT analysis method Participatory Rural Appraisal Approach (PRA) to re-explore the potential and problems of the region based on real conditions and the results are expected to be a guide for the community, private sector, and local government in developing shoe thematic villages in Cangkuang Kulon Village. The results are based on eleven development strategies and four stages of development. Phase 1: Strengthening Internal Institutions and Policy Socialization; Phase 2: Improving The Quality of Human Resources, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, IT Education; Stage 3: Strengthening Business Infrastructure; Stage 4: Market Expansion and Regional Image.
