An Analysis of the Implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Program in Bandung Regency

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Merdeka Belajar program in Bandung Regency and build rational arguments for government to support intervention in implementing the Merdeka Belajar program in Bandung Regency. The approach used is qualitative using surveys and literature studies using interviews and surveys. Informants in this research were selected using purposive sampling. The informants consisted of representatives from various related elements. From the district level, they are members of the Bandung Regency Learning Mobilization Team, which consists of elements from the Education Office, Inspectors/Supervisors, School Principals and Teachers who are representatives from PAUD, SD, SMP and PNFI levels. The findings of the study showd that the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar program in Bandung regency was carried out through the National Assessment and Learning Environment Survey, the Mobilizing Teacher, the Mobilizing School, IKM and PMM, and special education transformation program. Therefore, it is necessary to design policies and regulations such as regent's regulations that support Independent Learning, including regulations that facilitate National Assessments, Mobilizing Teacher Programs, Mobilizing School Programs, Implementing the Independent Curriculum, Utilizing Educational Report Cards and Inclusive Special Education Programs. Widespread outreach was carried out to understand the community, teachers and related parties about the concept and benefits of Merdeka Belajar, policy changes and implementation steps for all stakeholders.
